We recently completed a project to strip back old timbers as part of a renovation project.
This job required the right equipment and a light touch to ensure that the original timbers on this old property were taken back to their original colour without being damaged in any way.
Stripping old paint and oils from timber creates highly damaging dust and debris, so specialist PPE needs to be worn at all times. We also use crushed walnut shell to blast the timber, which reduces the chance of unintended damage and leaves a smooth finish. Our highly trained and experienced staff got this job done on time and with the minimum disruption to other renovation works.

Different treatments for different surfaces
Brickwork & Stone
We use fine crushed glass to prevent etching and reduce overall damage to the surface.

We use medium-grade crushed glass for the tougher metal jobs where the finish doesn't need to be ultra smooth.

We use wet or dry glass beads on this tough surface to remove the build-up of calciums and staining.
Fibreglass / Boat Hulls
We use wet blasted fine crushed glass on this softer surface for the removal of paints and other build up.
Woodwork & Beams
We use crushed glass to ensure no damage occurs to the surface, whilst providing a smooth clean.
General / All Purpose
We use soda blasting (baking soda) as a method of removing surface contaminants and light staining or discolouration.
