This house building project near Reading required the metal structural frame to be in place long before the overall building was made weatherproof, and during that time the frame naturally rusted. The Fineblast team were called in to quickly remove the rust just before the roof was put on, and we used medium-grade crushed glass to quickly strip the rust and leave a smooth finish.

Different treatments for different surfaces
Brickwork & Stone
We use fine crushed glass to prevent etching and reduce overall damage to the surface.

Fibreglass / Boat Hulls
We use wet blasted fine crushed glass on this softer surface for the removal of paints and other build up.
Woodwork & Beams
We use crushed glass to ensure no damage occurs to the surface, whilst providing a smooth clean.
General / All Purpose
We use soda blasting (baking soda) as a method of removing surface contaminants and light staining or discolouration.
