We recently assisted in a listed building renovation, with our specialist wood cleaning services required for the doors and impressive staircase.

The Fineblast team were recently at the beautiful Elm Farm in Shilton, Oxfordshire to clean and restore all of the oak doors and the entire staircase.

All of the surfaces had several layers of varnish and wood stain to darken them, so we had our work cut out getting down to the natural surface. However, with our specialist equipment and cleaning materials we can safely and effectively blast any surface.

Blasting is the fastest, cleanest, greenest and highest quality way to clean or strip paint from any wooden object, including antique items.

We use walnut shell to blast soft and delicate wood, or soda to remove tougher coatings and for general hard wood. As well as choosing the blasting solution to suit the surface, we can also adjust the pressure as we work, ensuring the most suitable cleaning process at all times.

Our dustless process means we can work inside and outside with minimal mess and disruption, and when you have complex wooden structures we can provide 100% surface cleaning in a fraction of the time normally required.

If you have any wooden structure that needs to be stripped back or cleaned, call our team or use our contact form and we'll be happy to give you a competitive quote on all kinds of interior and exterior cleaning.
